Family Open Day (4th Jan)
Build giant marble runs, listen to music through your teeth, see what’s hot and what’s not with our thermal camera and much much more when you visit the Science Oxford Centre. We’ve got scarf shooters, circuit challenges, microscopes and magnifiers plus Guess Who with dinosaur poo!
Join us for a unique science-themed experience that enables children and their families to play, explore and make discoveries. Enjoy a wide range of hands-on exhibits in the Exploration Zone before heading outside to the woodland to follow the trails, enjoy the beautiful ponds and hunt for clues that identify what wildlife lives in the woods.
“A brilliant and memorable afternoon. The children haven’t stopped talking about the scarf shooter since we got home!”
Please note: Due to the nights becoming darker earlier over the autumn/winter months, last access to the woodland is at 4pm. If you are attending the 3-5pm session, we advise that you arrive early (for example 2.30pm) to visit the woodland before you head into the Exploration Zone.
Picnic tables are available for packed lunches. The café will be open for refreshments.
