Family Open Day (15th Feb) Sold Out
Build giant marble runs, listen to music through your teeth, see what’s hot and what’s not with our thermal camera and much much more when you visit the Science Oxford Centre. We’ve got scarf shooters, circuit challenges, microscopes and magnifiers plus Guess Who with dinosaur poo!
Join us for a unique science-themed experience that enables children and their families to play, explore and make discoveries. Enjoy a wide range of hands-on exhibits in the Exploration Zone before heading outside to the woodland to follow the trails, enjoy the beautiful ponds and hunt for clues that identify what wildlife lives in the woods.
“A brilliant and memorable afternoon. The children haven’t stopped talking about the scarf shooter since we got home!”
Please note: There is a weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain for most parts of the UK on Saturday. If this is the case, the woodland will be closed to visitors for safety reasons.
The cafe will be open.
Due to the nights becoming darker earlier over the autumn/winter months, if it is not closed for the storm then last access to the woodland is at 4pm.
