Let your child release their creative talents at this fun programming session. Humanoid or animaloid – young coders will design and code a BBC micro:bit creature and bring it to life, complete with blinking LED eyes and a beating heart. They can even teach it to speak a few words, make it bark, or sing musical notes!

All sessions must be accompanied by an adult.

We recommend beginners come along to the 10am session and those who have been coming to our clubs for a little while or have some knowledge already come to the 12.30pm or 2.30pm session.

Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.

Science Oxford is committed to inclusion and we recognise that cost is sometimes a barrier. Funded places for eligible families are now available, thanks to the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust. Families could be eligible for these places for several reasons; for example, if your child receives free school meals or is a looked-after child. To find out more and to book one of these places, please contact [email protected].

Please note the Oxford Centre for Innovation satnav postcode is OX1 1NA. There is no parking at the venue. The nearest car park is Worcester Street car park.
