Come and join us at Stansfeld Park for our Winter Conservation Day in association with the Oxford Conservation Volunteers. Start the new year as you mean to go on – with some fresh air and hard work! We need your help to conserve our urban woodland so it can be enjoyed by our school and family visitors and wildlife can flourish.

To bring in the new year we will be carrying out scrub clearance to expand our open spaces, developing an area of hazel coppice and extending our network of pathways. On a cold day keep out the cold with some hard work and hot drinks around a bonfire.

Join us from 9:45 – 15:30;  biscuits and hot drinks provided but please come prepared to work outdoors.

Families are most welcome but under 18’s must be supervised by an adult. If you have any questions, or have any specific requirements,  please contact our Woodland Manager Roger Baker on [email protected] or 01865810012.

Run in partnership with the amazing OCV, we are working to rejuvenate the 15 acres of woodland, ponds and grassland at Stansfeld and create a fantastic space for primary school visitors and the local community to enjoy.
