Young Scientists of the Year 2016

Sunday 25th September 2016

This celebration is an opportunity for Oxfordshire’s secondary schools to nominate their best Year 13 students in Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be acknowledged for their outstanding efforts in science during the past year. It is a fantastic feel-good event and a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge our young local science talent.

We will be hosting the award ceremony at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on Wednesday 19 October from 18.00-20.00. In addition to a canapé reception in this historic building, there will be a keynote presentation given by Professor Paul Klenerman,  the Sidney Truelove Professor of Gastroenterology, and short contributions from a number of inspirational young researchers and apprentices.

For further information contact [email protected] or 01865 810014.

This event is supported by the Nuffield Department of Medicine and the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
