All primary teachers in schools across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire are eligible to attend.
The session:
Empowering pupils with greater creative control over what they investigate—and how—can significantly boost their engagement and motivation in science. This session offers a toolkit of strategies to inspire pupil-led thinking and support teachers in confidently managing practical investigations in the classroom.
Participants will:
- Discover practical approaches to spark and support pupil-led enquiry
- Learn effective techniques for facilitating pupil-led investigations
- Gain insight into how to take part in the Big Science Event 2026 in collaboration with the Great Science Share for Schools
