Forces, Look for patterns

Combining creativity and questioning, this workshop starts by introducing your children to air power through intriguing demonstrations. They will then each make their own air powered mouse then experiment with different amounts of air to make them fly.

Each child will design their own mouse-tronaut and decide which size launch station to use to power it. They will work scientifically, making decisions about equipment and looking for patterns in their results while figuring out how to send they mouse the highest, comparing their results with their peers and justifying their choices.

Primary School Shows and Workshops

We would usually expect one member of Science Oxford staff to be able to provide three activities in a day. Most of our shows are suitable for up to 60 children and most of our workshops for up to 30 children. We will create a draft timetable for you based on the information you provide below.
