FameLab is BACK!

Saturday 10th December 2016

Spread the word, FameLab’s BACK! Bringing science to the stage, FameLab UK is returning with a bang – and this year maybe it’s your turn to take part?

Can you explain a concept on science, mathematics or engineering in just three minutes without using any Powerpoint? Famelab is a UK-wide competition to find the new voices of science and engineering, where the most engaging, creative and daring individuals in science battle to surprise and fascinate you with unbelievable facts and unforgettable performances. Oxford competitors have a great record of making it to the final (and doing really well) and last year our heats generated both the eventual winner Kyle Evans and the runner-up Jase Taylor.

The Oxford heats take place at St Aldates Tavern Oxford on the 31st January and the 9th February 2017, where contestants will take to the stage for three-minute debuts in front of an audience. The regional final will take place at The Bullingdon, Cowley Road on 8th March also featuring 2016 FameLab UK winner Kyle Evans.

If you’re keen to enter as a contestant in the FameLab UK 2017 Oxford heats, you can find more information and register yourself here.
