Join our engineering workshop that’s going to tackle everything from environmental science to product design and making.

NEWSFLASH: An accidental oil spill has polluted the River Cherwell and is devastating the local ecosystem! Who is ready to take on the engineering challenge of the clean up? Will scooping, absorbing, blocking or filtering be the solution to getting rid of the oil? First, we’ll explore the impacts of such spills, and learn how the environment is changed when fossil fuels like oil leak out. Then, by performing hands-on experiments and trying out ideas, our young environmentalists will see if they can come up with a slick solution to the problem!

All Maker Club Juniors sessions must be accompanied by an adult.

Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
