A painting, bequeathed to Cogges, is being sold, but the auctioneer has cast his eyes over the masterpiece and is sure it’s a fake. So are the expert’s suspicions correct or does he have his own agenda? We’re sending in the forensic team to investigate. Join us for the latest in our CSI workshop series as we unravel artistic alibis, see who’s in the frame for fakery and put the picture under the microscope – we need your super-sleuth skills!

Become a crime scene investigator and use techniques including chromatography, microscopy and gait analysis to find out the truth. You’ll face conflicting stories from suspects and have a range of scientific evidence to find and analyse before you’re ready to decide if a crime has been committed!

We estimate the challenge will take roughly 1.5 hours. The bar will be open and ticket price includes access to grounds and buildings
