If arriving by coach, we will meet you on Quarry Road at the entrance to Douglas Downes Close from 9:45am.

Our staff will ensure your safety walking up the access road. This road is inaccessible to coaches and if the weather is wet you will need to make sure children are protected from the rain. The walk up to site takes 5–10 minutes. We will walk you back down the drive at the end of your visit.

Travel by minibus

The driveway is accessible to minibuses and we have two dedicated parking spaces on-site. Please let us know in advance if you are coming by minibus.

Travel on foot

If you are arriving on foot, we will meet you on Quarry Road at the entrance to Douglas Downes Close from 9:45am, and ensure your safety walking up the access road.

Teacher Taster Sessions at the Science Oxford Centre

If you would like to visit and explore the Science Oxford Centre before making a booking, please get in touch. Our Teacher Taster Sessions are free to book and provide early years and primary school teachers with an opportunity to come and explore our Centre. They aim to support teachers in understanding the facilities and what we can offer ahead of making a booking, and/or to serve as a site visit for teachers who have already booked a visit date.

Keep up-to-date with Science Oxford by following us on social media or sign up for our newsletter.
