Would you like to present a session?

We would love to hear from a diverse range of people, and are particularly interested in providing opportunities for attendees to:

• discuss accessibility and working with young people with special educational needs
• give and attend short talks about lesson plans, ideas, successes and learnings
• get hands-on training and support with new topics or software
• hear about new research and modern ideas that can be complex to teach, such as AI

Thanks to funding from the UK Python Association, if your talk or workshop is chosen, we can provide you with a free ticket to the Python in Education Day (includes lunch!). We unfortunately cannot pay speaker fees or expenses.

Please note there is no parking on site.

Science Oxford will provide a shuttle from the nearest Park-and-Ride – Thornhill Park and Ride – and/or from the train station in central Oxford.

We have plenty of cycle parking available on site, so encourage those nearby to cycle to our centre.

If you’re using a bus service, the nearest stop/service is Stagecoach 10 bus service. Also, stops on Windmill Road (10–15 min walk) or Old Road/Girdlestone Road (12 min walk) are serviced by buses coming in all directions, including Thornhill Park & Ride (400 and 700); Oxford Airport, Oxford Parkway Train Station, Summertown and Marston (700); Abingdon, Cumnor, Botley, Oxford Train Station and Oxford city centre (4/4A); Cowley and Temple Cowley (10 or U5) and the ST1 (which stops at Windmill Rd).

The Science Oxford Centre is in The Oxford Bus Company’s City Zone and Oxford Smart Zone.
