Ages 5-9

Get eco-friendly this summer! Make your own renewable energy at our fun family workshop at Museum of Oxford. Discover different ways we can power our planet, and conduct scientific experiments. Bright sparks create electricity with our circuit-challenge, investigate whether the sun or the wind creates the most ‘planet power’ and make mini wind-turbines to take home.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 5-9. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or carer. Parents and carers go free with a child’s ticket. Booking in advance is strongly advised due to previous demand.

More information and ticket booking at Museum of Oxford.

These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Our fun sessions and STEM Clubs for ages 5-9 are designed to engage children and their families with STEM: science, technology, engineering and maths. Through entertaining demos and hands-on activities, children have a chance to learn, explore, question and investigate different areas of science.

Workshop times are at 10am, 11.30am or 1.30pm.

£10 (includes one child plus adult)

Ages 5-9

Due to strict event capacity, we can only offer free admittance to one adult per paying child. Capacity for additional adults will be dependent on the day.
