Come along to our Autumn Conservation Day and join Science Oxford and Oxford Conservation Volunteers in the woodland at Stansfeld Park.

Tasks will be weather dependent but we hope to scythe and rake the grassland, surface our network of pathways, continue building rails and steps and cut back some of the summer growth. It’s a great chance to visit the home of our new Science Oxford Centre and explore the woods, ponds and grassland.

Come armed with suitable outdoor clothing to get stuck in between the hours of 9:45 and 16:00 and bring lunch if you are planning to stay all day. Tea/coffee/squash and biscuits will be provided. Families are most welcome, but under 18’s must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Get in touch with Roger Baker 01865 810012 or [email protected] for further details.

Run in partnership with the amazing OCV, we are working to rejuvenate the 15 acres of woodland, ponds and grassland at Stansfeld and create a fantastic space for primary school visitors and the local community to enjoy.
