Kid’s Cosmic Competition launch
Wednesday 8th May 2019
With the night’s sky holding more secrets than science currently knows, why not use our galaxy as a source of creative inspiration? 2019 marks 50 years since humans landed on the moon, and to celebrate, we are launching a competition for children of Oxfordshire, aged up to 12 years old. All you need to do is create a piece of space-inspired artwork for a chance of winning one of two prizes, kindly gifted to us by Stabilo. To enter, simply upload your creation by 31st May to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and tag us @ScienceOxford. Or email [email protected].

If you look really hard, you may even be able to see planets as distant as Jupiter. Pick up a telescope, and set your sights even further…
