Working with Community Groups
Science Oxford is dedicated to engaging local community groups in STEM learning. We provide engaging and inclusive access to STEM topics through a programme of bespoke activity days for community groups including opportunities at the Science Oxford Centre and in the community.
Planning an activity day with us
Working in collaboration with individual community groups, we design an activity day to suit you and your group around STEM themes. We can offer exclusive bookings at the center or we can come to you.

Library Tour
Over the summer holidays, Science Oxford teamed up with Oxfordshire Libraries and, as part of the Summer Reading Challenge and The Story Garden theme, we visited libraries and their wild spaces in libraries across the county. With hands-on workshops, families with children age 7-11 became ‘Observologists’, observing minibeasts and designing their own imaginary creatures.
