Science Oxford Employer Awards

We really value the contribution that businesses make to our STEM Careers Programme. Without their support, we would not be able to offer the wide range of workplace experiences for secondary school students that we do. To say thank you, we have created the Science Oxford Employer Awards, which recognise businesses for their contributions to the programme. To qualify for an award, the business needs to engage with secondary school students through one or more of our in-school STEM Careers Days, STEM Insight Week visits or by hosting a STEM Work Experience student. There are different levels of award:

Gold Award

The Gold Award recognises a business that is involved in multiple activities in our STEM Careers Programme and actively supports and promotes the scheme.

Silver Award

The Silver Award recognises a business that has been involved in more than one of our STEM Careers Programme activities and is actively engaging young people about STEM..

Bronze Award

The Bronze Award recognises a business that has been involved in one of our STEM Careers Programme activities and is keen to encourage young people into STEM careers in the future.

Each organisation in receipt of an award gains a certificate of recognition to demonstrate their engagement with young people.
