Winter Livestream Shows
One of our winter highlights is our annual livestreamed show. We get the chance to share some exciting demonstrations with you and connect online with many pupils all at the same time. And we love all the interesting questions they ask!
2024 Winter Livestream Interactive Shows
The science of invisibility
Science Oxford’s new online show is full of surprises! We’ll explore the science of invisibility, from how animals blend into their surroundings to how humans use technology to make things disappear in real life. With exciting demonstrations and fun facts, we’ll uncover the secrets behind staying hidden and becoming “invisible”. You won’t believe your eyes!
Each show is about 30 minutes long. Children will have the opportunity to interact by asking and answering questions via their teachers and educators on a live chat during the shows.
Date: Tuesday 10th December
Key Stage 1 (ages 7 and under): 11am – 11:30am
Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11): 1:30pm – 2pm
We’d love you to join us! To help us plan, we’d appreciate if you could let us know which show(s) you would like to attend. If you do, we will be able to give a shout-out to your pupils during the live show and send you a teacher information pack before we broadcast. Links to YouTube will be sent out one week before the event and will also be posted online. Register your interest to make sure you receive the link.
