For: All primary science leads. Open to staff from Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire schools only
A hands-on exploration of different types of practical investigations suitable for KS1 and KS2. This course demonstrates how small changes to how practical science is delivered can increase the level of thinking and enjoyment. Curriculum topics covered in the course can be adapted to the requirements of the school.
Course outcomes:
- How to encourage higher order thinking and problem solving skills.
- Practical ideas to take straight back into the classroom.
- Address topic areas which are less suited to fair test type investigations.
