Become a Germbuster and feel the power of your immune system at this month’s Abingdon Club! Your body is a Germ-bustin’ super-hero – every day it works hard to fight off viruses, often without you even realising they are there. Good microbes or bad? Get locked and loaded, and discover the body’s infection-fighting weapons. Test materials and objects for cleanliness with UV ‘Glo-germs’ and play fun games to build up immune defences with giant balls and K’nex. Germ-bustin’ makes you feel good!

Event Details
All STEM Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things.
Our fun sessions for ages 5-9 are designed to engage children and their families with STEM: science, technology, engineering and maths. Through entertaining demos and hands-on activities, children have a chance to learn, explore, question and investigate different areas of science. Each month has a different theme, so you can try something new each time if you attend regularly.
