Electrify your art at Science Club and make festively bright glow-up cards to light up the winter holidays. Learn about circuits and electricity to make and decorate an interactive light-up card to take home or give to Bffs, family or your favourite pets!
Our circuit creators discover how and why a bulb lights up, or what materials are insulators or conductors. Test how many LED bulbs can light up with a battery, which way round and what colour they are. Make a light-up card circuit using conductive tape on the template, and decorate your festive design using anything from our craft drawers and the die cutter.

Admission to the planetarium show requires both a club ticket booking and a £3 Planetarium Ticket per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Visitor café open 10am – 4pm.
All attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family Day instead.

Event Details
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the club and all our activities are designed for adults and children to work together. Led by our expert club leaders, try out bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Planetarium Show (New monthly pop-up feature! – Club ticket required and additional £3 ticket booking essential. Limited tickets available.)
Discover the scale of the universe in an out-of-this-world planetarium show that will transport you to space! Explore planets, stars, our galaxy, and beyond in this immersive experience inside our inflatable planetarium.
Each 30-minute session includes the show, a brief Q&A, and time to enter and exit the planetarium.
Planetarium show times:
Please queue 10 minutes before your planetarium show time.
11:45AM – 12:15PM
13:00PM – 13:30PM
14:00PM – 14:30PM
You can choose any planetarium show time that fits your plans — before or after your club.
Admission to the planetarium show requires both a club and a £3 Planetarium Ticket. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No entry for under 3s.
Due to the nature of the inflatable planetarium, capacity is limited to 25 people per show for safety and comfort. Booking early is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Purchase a £3 planetarium show ticket in addition to your club ticket via the Eventbrite Science Club ticket booking.
Family Day tickets must also be purchased separately if you wish to access the Exploration Zone.

Ticket transfer changes:
For events scheduled until December 2025: if you cannot attend, you can request a refund or transfer your ticket via Eventbrite to another comparable event up to December 2025 only.
For events scheduled after January 2026: self-transfers will not be available.
