Discover where and why bugs thrive in nature’s eco-system, and how they help planet Earth! Explore mini-beast habitats in trees, grass, under logs or in the soil and investigate each insect’s super-skills – characteristics that make them super-strong, speedy, slimy or camouflaged. From Ant-Man to Madam Web, Spider-man to The Fly, make a Marvel-lous playdough creature to take home.

£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas and the visitor cafe. All attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family Day instead.

Event Details
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the club and all our activities are designed for adults and children to work together. Led by our expert club leaders, try out bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Nature Club is usually held in our workshop space, with some outdoor activities in most sessions, weather permitting. Explore the natural world in different ways each month, where you will be making the most of the beautiful surroundings at the Science Oxford Centre. With ponds, woodlands and meadows on our doorstep, children can explore and investigate the plants and animals that live alongside us, discover the simple beauty of natural objects and learn how everything in an ecosystem is interconnected.
