Our STEM placements offer an extended work experience in local STEM businesses in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
This opportunity is for Y11 and Y12 students and you can either try an apprenticeship taster or carry out a research project. The experience is for 2-4 weeks during your school summer holidays and you have to complete a project write-up and a poster which you showcase at the celebration event at the end of the summer. Science Oxford provides you with a travel bursary of £50 per week.
Applications for summer 2018 are now open!

Remember we are looking for an understanding of your subject and enthusiasm to experience and learn new skills; we do not expect any prior experience. Successful applicants will be invited to interview, to find out what your ideal work experience would be so we can place you with a company that is the perfect fit!
