STEM Placements

Applications for our STEM placements are now open for year 11 and 12 students at state schools in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire only. The closing date for applications will be 29 March 2019.

Placements take place during July and August 2019 and students need to be available for a minimum of three weeks for research placements and a minimum of two weeks for apprenticeship tasters and should be aged 16 at the start of the placement. We particularly welcome applications from people interested in apprenticeships.

Eleanor did a research project investigating invasive crustacea species at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History

Brandon did an apprenticeship placement with the Engineering department of Oxford University

Olivia did a research project with CROWN to look at whether pyrolysis could be used for coating identification
