Thinking, Doing, Talking Science (TDTS) aims to make science lessons in primary schools more practical, creative and challenging by training teachers in a number of strategies to encourage pupils to use higher order thinking skills.

The project is funded by the Education Endowment Foundation and has been created and is being delivered by Science Oxford, in partnership with Oxford Brookes University. Find out more about the project here.

Training in TDTS can be delivered in one full day CPD or as three separate twilight sessions.

Thinking, Doing, Talking Science 1 – Bright Ideas Time (Twilight – 1.5 hours)
Thinking, Doing, Talking Science 2 – Creative Investigations (Twilight – 1.5 hours)
Thinking, Doing, Talking Science 3 – Focused Recording (Twilight – 1.5 hours)

Thinking, Doing, Talking Science  full day – A one-day introduction to TDTS strategies.
Price – £325+ VAT
A one-day introduction to the Thinking, Doing, Talking Science strategies. During this fully interactive course you will be encouraged to think about key scientific concepts through dedicated discussion and creative practical investigation whilst considering how to focus your recording.
